Evergreen shrub with narrow blue-green foliage.  It’s arching growth habit creates a layered spreading appearance in the landscape.  The species displays heat, drought, full sun tolerance and doesn’t discolor in winter.  Might serve as a replacement for hollies, cherrylaurels and junipers.  This relative of the witchhazel grows 5′ h x 8′ w.

Echinacea ‘Hot Papaya’

First ever double orange-red coneflower. ‘Hot Papaya’ has a 3″ spicy orange-red bloom and the pom pom center is ringed with a papaya orange halo.  Grows 2 1/2 – 3′ tall and 2′ wide. Excellent flower for cutting and creates an amazing visual impact in the landscape.
